• Important Guest Alert: Temporary Pool Closure

  We want to inform our valued owners and guests of a temporary closure affecting select amenities at Carriage Place and The Townhouses (Surrey). Due to a significant underground leak supplying the indoor pool house, the indoor pool and hot tubs are currently closed. Our maintenance team has already identified the source of the issue, and we are working closely with licensed plumbers to complete the necessary repairs.

  We'd like to give you an update on our ongoing evaluation process and the important steps currently underway. As we continue our comprehensive evaluation of Carriage Place's future, we have now reached a critical phase that requires a detailed structural assessment of the property. Over the coming weeks, we will be conducting an extensive engineering study that will involve a thorough inspection of the underlying structural components of each building on every floor. This study is necessarily invasive as our engineers need to access areas typically hidden from view to properly assess the condition and integrity of the resort's infrastructure. While we understand this may cause some temporary inconvenience, this professional evaluation is essential for making informed decisions about the property's future. Why This Study Matters: The engineering assessment will provide us with comprehensive data about: - Current structural conditions across all buildings - Required repairs and maintenance needs - Cost estimates for necessary improvements - Timeline considerations for any proposed work This information will serve as the foundation for obtaining accurate bids from contractors. All bookings, exchanges, and vacation plans will continue as usual through 2025 and into 2026. We encourage you to continue using and enjoying the resort as you always have. We're also pleased to announce that we have re-opened the indoor pool at Carriage Place, which will remain open for the foreseeable future. We know this amenity is important to many of our families and we're committed to maintaining the quality experience you expect during your stays. What's Next: Once the engineering study is complete and we have received contractor bids, our team will have the comprehensive information needed to finalize recommendations for the Board's consideration. We anticipate having more definitive information and specific options to share with ownership later this fall.
